Welcome to Answers in Love!
Hello! I’m Cheryl – counselor, teacher, speaker and author with 40+ years experience helping individuals, couples, families and groups. I love to integrate sound psychological principles and Biblical truth in ways that help people grow toward effective Christian living.
My experience includes teaching 3000 students at the secondary, college and graduate school levels, 30-years practice as a clinical counselor, founding and directing a church counseling program, supervising beginning counselors, conducting 150 workshops in churches and at national conventions and co-authoring Parents of Missionaries (Intervarsity Press).
I regard my decision to follow Christ, my 40-year marriage and raising two great children who each married wonderful partners as my greatest achievements. I consider my stunningly-beautiful granddaughters and heart-breakingly handsome grandsons as my greatest blessings. My husband and I live in Greenville, South Carolina, hail from Ohio and always root for the Buckeyes.
